The two big scenic areas

Wulingyuan's 236 RMB ticket is valid four days — the whole forest-park network (Yuanjiajie, Golden Whip Stream, Tianzi Mountain, Ten-Mile Gallery). If you only want one visit, the entrance-only ticket (about 165 RMB) plus pay-per-ride transport can work, but the 4-day package is the better deal for a classic 2–3 day trip.

Grand Canyon & glass bridge

The Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon glass bridge and the canyon trail are ticketed together. The B route (bridge + canyon walk) runs around 178 RMB by reference. The bridge books out in peak weeks — reserve in advance, especially for morning slots.

Money-saving habits that work: book online before 16:00 for next-day tickets in high season; the "bundle" ticket plus shuttle bus is usually cheaper than piece-by-piece; students, seniors (65+) and children get discounts — carry passports / ID for the counter.

Do you need a guide to buy tickets?
