2, 3 or 4 Days? How to Choose
Two days is the essence, three is the classic first visit, four lets you add the glass bridge or the old town.
2 days — the essence
Wulingyuan only. Day 1: Yuanjiajie + Jinbian Creek (the Avatar pillars). Day 2: Tianzi Mountain + Ten-mile Gallery. Pick one cable car or the Bailong lift to save walking time.
3 days — the most balanced
Wulingyuan 2 + Tianmen Mountain 1. This is the classic first visit: the forest park for scenery, Tianmen for the world's longest cable car and the glass walkway. The most popular option for 2–6 people.
4 days — add the valley or the town
- Option A: + Grand Canyon glass bridge and Huanglong Cave on day 4 (both near the park-to-city road).
- Option B: + Fenghuang old town (3–3.5 hrs by car) — better as 4–5 days so you don't rush.

Local tip: with a private car, day 4 options combine easily because the Grand Canyon and Huanglong Cave sit on the same road between the park and the city. No extra transfers needed.
